About Christs Teachings

If you go to Google and enter the keyword expression “What are the teachings of Christ?” Something interesting is revealed: You get deflection and sleight of hand. To explain.

You will be told that he is the second person of a Holy Trinity. That he is God. You will be told that Jesus’ religion was Christianity. That he went into a place of fiery torment called hell when he died. That he was born of a virgin. That he never sinned. That he died and was resurrected on the third day. That he will one day return to the earth. That he is now earth’s king. That one must accept him as their Lord and Savior and be baptized in water. You will be told that Christ’s followers go to heaven when they die. Those who are not his followers will enter into eternal punishment and torment in a fiery hell. You will be told that Christ’s followers will be Raptured up into the sky and then into heaven when he returns. That one must be born again. This born-again teaching is very vague and is merely words without substance than something that can be explained as a teaching of Christ. You will be told that Jesus was born on December 25. There is a long list.

However, these are not teachings of Jesus. These are teachings of men. Jesus never taught a Holy Trinity. Jesus never taught that he was God. Jesus never taught a fiery place of torment called hell. Jesus never taught that he was born of a virgin (Yes, the Bible says this, but Jesus never taught it). Jesus never taught that he did not sin. Jesus never taught that his followers must get baptized in water or that water was his baptism. Jesus never taught a Rapture. Jesus never taught that his followers will go to heaven. Jesus never taught that his religion was Christianity and that the result of disciple-making would evolve into something called Christianity.

It is very important to make a distinction between what Christ actually taught and what men assume and teach are Christ’s teachings.

Another sleight of hand one will notice is that many will resort to saying “The Bible teaches” to avoid focusing on what Christ teaches. I can 100 percent guarantee that The Bible gets more props than Christ Jesus when it comes to teachings.

The confusion among the masses enters in because many marry what is written in the Bible with what Christ actually taught and still teaches. They consult the Bible as if it is a textbook to God and Christ. This is a mistake because the Bible as a whole is in conflict with the teachings of Christ.

It must be understood that the book called the Bible did not appear on the earthly scene until some 1500 years after Christ ascended! Think about that carefully.

How can a book today called the Bible – who many believe is the Word of God – take precedence, be equated to, or have more prominence over the one who actually is the Word of God, Christ himself?

In this section, I will post what are actually Christ’s teachings against the backdrop of what many believe is his teachings but are not.

It is my view that if one is able to make the distinctions I mentioned above, along with asking the Father in heaven for illumination and revelation of the truth, that they will be well ahead of the curve with regards being in alignment with Christ and his teachings.

The masses of the world will not like or even love you when you take the pill of truth and awaken from the slumber.

It is then one will see the beast-like qualities in people who claim they are followers of Christ and godly persons.

No one of importance. A disciple (student) of Christ apart from the established religious systems who reasons, thinks and concludes matters for myself. Something is not right with the state of religion in the world. The real dichotomy is that we live in a world so full of religion, yet is an evil, immoral, and dangerous place to live. A mental and spiritual separation from this world that Jesus said his kingdom is no part of is the first step to a "break-through" to freedom and entry into a much larger spiritual world where God and Christ resides and the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God can be accessed.
