Jesus return

Will Anyone Be Alive When Jesus Returns?

Answer: No!

Here is why?

Out of his own mouth Jesus said at Matthew 16:28:

Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

Jesus said this more than 2000 years ago to people standing in front of him. Obviously everyone that heard him say this is no longer living. So how can people who have been dead now for over 2000 years “not taste death” BEFORE they “see” the Son of Man coming?  It is obvious that Jesus was speaking of a different kind of “death” and a different kind of “seeing.”

Does 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 say that people will be alive when Christ returns? No!

The Apostle Paul was discussing the topic of the resurrection of the dead with his congregation. He mentioned two types of people: (1) Those who have fallen asleep (dead) in Christ and (2) those who are dead but alive in Christ.

Both classes of people – those who have fallen asleep in Christ and those who are alive in Christ are BOTH dead! Those who have fallen asleep in death are those who did not know Jesus. Those who are alive are persons who knew Jesus before they died. That is why we read at Acts 24:15,

and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.

NOTE: Christ sacrificed his life for everyone one. It was a free unconditional gift to all of mankind. Even people who existed before him. So there will be people who are dead in Christ.

The “wicked” are the persons who have fallen asleep in Christ. The righteous are those who are “alive” in Christ. BOTH will be resurrected.

In other words, those who have fallen asleep are “dead in Christ” and those who are considered alive are “alive in Christ.” Both are actually dead and BOTH will be resurrected.

When the Apostle Paul said that “We shall not all sleep” he was not referring to the kind of death we all will have by growing old, getting sick and dying. He was referring to sleeping in the Second Death. The only time one can be subjected to the Second Death is when they are resurrected from the dead.

At 1 Thess 4:15-17, the Apostle Paul is telling us about the two resurrections from the dead: Those dead in Christ and those alive in Christ. He is telling us that the “dead in Christ” will be resurrected first. THEN he says the next ones to be resurrected are those who are “alive” in Christ.

So those who are left until the coming of the Lord are dead as well! It is just they will not be resurrected first. Those who were born and died first will be resurrected first. It is like first come, first served. Persons all down through time who lived and died first are resurrected before any of us today who will die.

That is why the Apostle Paul said, “… we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.”

In other words, EVERYONE is dead! Those born last and who will die last (people today and in the future) are the ones left until the coming of the Lord. They are dead and will be resurrected AFTER those who died first in the past.

READ 1 THESS 4:15-17 VERY CAREFULLY !!!

THE CHURCHES ARE TEACHING THIS INCORRECTLY!

Christ’s kingdom is a part of God’s kingdom. No imperfect person can enter into God’s kingdom. They must be “born again” from the dead. In other words, they must DIE and then be resurrected in order to qualify for even seeing it, no less entering into it.

Plus, all of mankind is under Adam’s curse. We all MUST die. (Genesis 2:17)

Jesus told the Pharisee Nicodemus that unless one is “born again” he will not be able to see God’s Kingdom.

In other words, Jesus was telling Nicodemus that unless a man dies and is resurrected from the dead, it is not possible to be in a position to see God’s kingdom. (John 3:3-4)

So, no one will be alive when Christ returns. Please note, the world will NEVER see Christ again because he is no longer a man. Jesus said at John 14:19:

Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

Jesus said his disciples would see him not with their literal eyes, but will see him in another sense: by faith that Jesus is alive. What is faith? Is it seeing with your literal eyes? No! (Hebrews 11:1)

Additionally, we walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor 5:7) So the “seeing” is with the eyes of faith. Remember, both God and Christ are Spirit. They cannot be seen. (Col 1:15, John 1:18)

So if anyone teaches that people will see Jesus again, they simply do not understand Jesus’ teachings. They are relying on what they can “see” with the physical eye. It is not possible to worship God or believe in him by using the physical eye because God is invisible. We see him and his son by faith. (John 4:23-24)

Does 1 Cor 15:51 teach that people will be alive when Jesus returns? No, it does not. Read beginning at 1 Cor 15:50. It says flesh and blood (things that can be seen) cannot reside in heaven. So that means that Jesus is not flesh and blood in heaven. So how can he be seen with the physical eye when he returns?

When the Apostle Paul said that “we will not all sleep, but will all be changed” he was not referring to Jesus’ return because Jesus’ return takes place BEFORE the last trumpet blast. (The seventh trumpet).

The Apostle Paul was teaching that not all persons who are resurrected will enter into the Second Death (Lake of Fire or eternal sleep). He says they will be changed. Changed how? SAVED for EVERLASTING LIFE !!! They will have passed the test of being faithful.

Jesus said at Matthew 10:22 that:

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

So no one is saved until they have endured faithfully to the end.

And the end has not arrived yet has it?

So no one today is saved.

The religious organizations today are not listening to Christ. They are listening to themselves. (Luke 9:35)

They defend at great length, the teachings concocted by men and they even pass them off as truth or something from God.

They are like the Pharisee Nicodemus who did not understand Christ when he spoke about being born again. (John 3:3-4)

Only the devil would teach a lie that people will be alive when Jesus returns; and the devil has many human agents saturating the earth who plant the seeds of untruth.

I speak this to you out of love. People who love you will tell you the truth no matter how unpopular or unpleasant it is.

Those who speak untruth, do not love you. They are have another agenda: The agenda of wicked one which is to corral the masses of people into religious organizations in order to feed and fatten them up with lies before their slaughter.

No one of importance. A disciple (student) of Christ apart from the established religious systems who reasons, thinks and concludes matters for myself. Something is not right with the state of religion in the world. The real dichotomy is that we live in a world so full of religion, yet is an evil, immoral, and dangerous place to live. A mental and spiritual separation from this world that Jesus said his kingdom is no part of is the first step to a "break-through" to freedom and entry into a much larger spiritual world where God and Christ resides and the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God can be accessed.

    1. All of mankind since Adam (to include Adam) will have been resurrected and gone through Christs 1000 year kingdom over the earth. The population of the earth in those future days will be as the grains of sand on the seashore. In other words, they cannot be counted.

At the end of Christs 1000 year rule, the inhabitants of the earth will be much different than we are today. At present, we “Do not know what we are doing. We do not know good and bad.” At the end of Christs 1000 year rule, the inhabitants WILL KNOW what they are doing and will know good and bad. Christ will have taught them those things.” Christ will be out of the picture when his kingdom ends. That means that mankind will no longer need a mediator between themselves and God. We will be as Adam was. Did Adam have a mediator? No!

So when Satan is released, he will see a perfect human society all united under the one true God. Satan will also see an earth that resembles the Garden of Eden of old.

Since Christ will no longer be mankinds mediator, there can be no more forgiveness of sins. This makes sense because we will all know good and bad for ourselves.

According to Revelation 20:6-8, Satan – when released – goes out into that one earthly and united society (nations of people all united under the one true God) to deceive them. Satan will do this by supplanting on top of what Christ has established on earth, his own kingdom of the Wild Beast. It will be just as glorious as Christs kingdom. It will be a kingdom where peace and safety will dwell. This deception is for one purpose: To prepare the inhabited earth to resist what MUST come down to the earth, God’s Kingdom.

That the inhabited earth in those days will be “deceived” means that they will not be at fault upon being told the truth about the great deception. An angel will declare to the earth in those future days a message uncovering the great deception. Those who respond will live on into eternity on earth, those who do not and “choose” to worship (support) the Wild beast and its image, will go into the Second Death (Lake of Fire), in other words, nonexistence.

The message that will be declared by that one angel is the Good News of the Kingdom. (Revelation 14:6) No human will declare that message. That message is NOT being declared today. No one today knows the contents of that all important message as it has not been given yet. That message is not for our time today because billions are still in their graves. It is a message for a time period when ALL of mankind is alive and resurrected.  ALL MUST have an opportunity to hear it. Jesus said this at Matthew 24:14.

So at present, any claims to preaching the Good News of the Kingdom is in error.

In those future days – more than 1000 years in the future – many will choose to obey Satan through his Wild Beast knowing full well of what they are doing. They will have heard the angels declaration of the Good News but will chose to ignore it. Why? Because Satan’s Wild Beast (Throne) will be preceived as being so glorious and powerful, it will be viewed as invincible. (Rev 13:4) That even God’s kingdom will not be able to prevail against it. That in itself is mindblowing. So the kingdom of the Wild Beast will be something to behold indeed.

God’s Kingdom will prevail and those who “knowingly” resisted its establishment on earth (Armageddon), will be destroyed for all eternity along with the Dragon, Wild Beast and False Prophet).

Tip: The Book of Revelation is about what will happen AFTER Christ 1000 year kingdom ends and Satan is released. It has nothing to do with our time period today or things of the past. In time, many will come to see this. Many will refuse to see it and contintue along the path of being misled.

      1. Hiya Jerome

Hope this message finds you well.

You've certainly got a lot to say on virtually every subject in the bible!! You must have great wisdom! Above everyone else on earth by the look of it. God has blessed you with great insight. I must bow down to your amazing and superior knowledge of the meanings of Scripture and of the future!!

Where do you get your knowledge of these things from?….How DO you reach these incredible conclusions when you have nowhere reliable to get your knowledge from???Especially that, according to you, the BIBLE cannot be trusted to be correct as it has been corrupted by man. Inserting what suited their thinking at the time and leaving out what didn't. ….. Where does it come from??……

Is it direct from God? ……Well no! Can't be from him! He gave us his son to give us this knowledge…….. Is it direct from Jesus?…… Well no! It can't be direct from him! He communicates to us now only through his teachings as written down by his disciples……..Is it direct from his holy spirit? ……Well no! It can't be that either as there's no such entity according to you.

I'm puzzled!!?? ….  Not from God… Not from Jesus….. Not from holy spirit…..????? Where from then????…… This IS a mystery!!…..Can't think where from?…… Hmmm??…..Oh! No!  surely not! …… Could it possibly be??…… The BIBLE??!!!…….Of course!! You must be getting your info from the Bible then!!!…….. But the Bible has been corrupted by man!! There cant be any truths in there!!!…… Can there???

Jerome you quote everything you believe in, from a book that you don't trust to have the full truth. It can't have the full truth as you have already said so in your belief statements. That being the case…… You can't possibly base all your beliefs from such a corrupted collection of books!!!!………. Can you!!!!,……….or can you??……..YES YOU CAN!!! Because that's exactly where your beliefs come from and where you get your information!!!!!!!

You say you base your beliefs on only what your Lord and master says in Scripture and not on what any man says. Yet it was man who wrote down Jesus's words in Scripture, long after he left the world. So you cannot be certain that the words written down are true, according to your logic. As they were corrupted by man

Jerome you have criticised virtually every denomination of Christianity for basing their beliefs on a book that has been corrupted according to you. Yet you do the same!!!!

None of your beliefs can have any foundation because it comes from a collection of books written by man that you don't trust to be true!!! You do nothing but quote Scripture at us to back up your beliefs but it is from a corrupted source ……according to you.

You can't say that that man corrupted the Scriptues on one hand and then go on to quote them on the other hand. Sorry friend it doesn't add up does it???!!!!

Please don't try to tell me that some Scriptures are more legitimate than others as they were all written down by man, and according to you, cannot be taken as TRUTH!!!

You are just like most of the other so called Christian denominations…..conceited……biased…..and self righteous,  and have  a whole sense of how important you are to the world.

You have the TRUTH and no one is going to take that away from you.  You are so sure aren't you!!.. just like Charles Russell,  Joseph Smith, Joseph Rutherford, Ellen White, Joseph Bates, etc etc etc!!!

Can I just quote even one thing you've said….. Jesus said " father forgive them for they no not what they do"  and therefore don't know the difference between good and bad. So according to you none of us will be judged at all on this life as we "don't know what we do". Yet in the book of Genesis according to God and his companion, in the garden of Eden after the devil had tempted Eve and deceived Adam the Lord said " look he has become like us knowing good and bad" is the Lord telling lies??? according to your logic he is.

It's pretty self explanatory isn't it. We knew good and bad from that moment on.

I'm not a Bible scholar. I know a little about it. I wouldn't try to challenge you quote for quote as you know them all and I don't. But your wisdom is not as superior as you think. You're really just like all us mere mortals getting the Scriptures wrong but to proud to think that you may actuallyt be wrong!!

Didn't you leave an organization you BELIEVED in for that reason???

In another 150 years from now someone will be using your BELIEFS for their own ends!!

        Kind regards

        Kelvin

        1. Hi Kelvin,

Wow! This is pricely the kind of fruit that Christianity produces. It is not good fruit.

You have already concluded the matter. You have completely dissed the Creator and His Messiah in that He (God) is unable to give wisdom, understanding and knowledge to those who ask for it. Instead these things must be extracted from a book that men compiled, named, authorized, made holy, call scripture and call the Word of God. Trust is to be placed in a book instead of Christ, who IS The ONLY Word of God.

What you do not know is this: Where I get any insight I have. I know that it is NOT directly from God because God does not communicate with us directly, he communicates with us ONLY through ONE channel: His Son.

I know that it NOT through the pages of a book because God has not authorized any book to be His Word.

I DO know that it is from Christ. Why? Because he is my ONLY Master and Teacher. No book, no human or religious organization is my Master and Teacher.

And, unlike many, I believe that Christ is alive and still able to teach us. Anyone who says that Jesus communicates with us through the things written down by his disciples are essentially saying that Christ is dead (not risen) and unable to teach us today.

You seem to think that I am arrogant because I challenge the established things with regards Christianity. No, I am actually the opposite, humble and concerned. Too many people want agreement without challenge, investigation and questioning.

I am no one. I have asked for no following from anyone and neither do I seek it.

You are incorrect in saying that Jesus “communicates to us now only through his teachings as written down by his disciples.” Your statement confirms what I have been attempting people to get people to see: That “The Bible” is NOT the way. The Bible is NOT the truth. The Bible is NOT scripture. The Bible is NOT the Word of God. Jesus Christ is ALL of those things.

It is not according to ME that none of us will be judged at all on this life as we “don’t know what we do”. It is NOT according to “The Bible” either. It is according to Christ not no of us will be judge based on what we do in this lifetime because he gave up his life for so that we will not be judged for the bad things we do due to imperfection and inherited sin. These have been forgiven.

It is Christianity who lies and teaches opposite of what Christ teaches that people will be punished eternally for sin committed in this life time if they do not accept Jesus. Yet, they forget that Jesus asked forgiveness for those who persecuted and took his life. They were not his followers.

They forget that Chist spoke of another life and death beyond the present ones: A Second Life and a Second Death. It is what one does within that second life that one will be judged worthy of eternal life. Yet, they do not teach this because it does not fit in with their twisted concept of punishment for sin and not accepting THEIR false Christ.

You go back to Genesis and you incorrectly use a scene in the Garden to rationalize that man came to know good and bad. That is not what it is explaining. What it is explaining that man came to know good and bad for HIMSELF. In other words, man came to define for HIMSELF what is good and what is bad. Not that he came to know what is good and bad from Gods point of view.

To one person good is bad and to another that same bad is good. The Apostle Paul when he was Saul of Tarsus thought it was good to hunt down and persecute Christ disciples. There are many who claim to be Christians who believe it is good to lynch, drop weapons of mass destruction, seek revenge, etc. So to say that mankind knows good and bad from God point of view is not correct. The Genesis account is showing that when man disobeyed God, he chose to define what is good and bad for himself.

King Solomon, the wisest of all men (who had no Bible) said at Proverbs 21:2, “Every man’s way is right in his OWN eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts.”

It is too bad that persons like you let emotion and unreasonableness hinder them from thinking deep about such matters.

The source of all wisdom, understanding and knowledge is The Most High God. Yet, it is a book and religious organization that people defend. This is unfortunate because to trust in these

You defend a book more than you do the one who is to be your Teacher and Master.

I suppose I should thank you because it thoughts like these that encourages me to continue down the path I am on. Thank you.

It will be God, not you – my friend – or any man who will knock me off that path.

Like I said, if it is God’s will that I am NOT speaking the truth (which is not mine, but Christs), then he will shut me up. If it is Christ truth (his teaching) there will be no power in heaven or earth that will be able to keep it hidden. (Acts 5:38)
