alien invasion

Will Aliens Invade The Earth?

The wind that seems to be picking up velocity is that of “Will Aliens Invade The Earth?”

Many within the Christian system of religion are divided on this issue. On one side the belief that there is no life outside the earth on other planets and on the other, that UFO activity is Satan and his demons and they will invade the earth. This is based largely on what is written at Revelation Chapter 12:7-17 which describes a war in heaven between the Great Dragon and his angels and Michael the Archangel and his angels and the Dragon and his hordes casting out of heaven to the earth.

Is either of these scenarios correct? Did Jesus speak of an alien invasion from outer space?

One must think: What is the reasoning behind or the purpose of an invasion? To possess the land or territories of another, or to oust a dictator; or to conquer and take control of a people and/or resources. Well, according to 1 John 5:19, Satan already has the whole world under his power. So what need would there be for him to invade it?

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Additionally, John 12:31 shows that Satan is already the prince of this world, so again, why would he have to invade it? In fact, the Scripture even says he has to be driven out, so he is already in control of the world.

Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.

That Satan is the present ruler and prince of the world can be seen in the temptation of Jesus scenario. At Matthew 4:8-9 we read of Satan taking Jesus, the Son of God, to an unusually high mountain to show him all of the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Then Satan offers them to Jesus in exchange for an act of worship to him.

Jesus never said that the kingdoms of the world were not Satan’s to give. Thus, this shows that Satan owns and rules over all of the present kingdoms of the world. Thus, there is no need for him to invade a world he already possesses and controls. He controls the world of mankind from the heavens above. Satan, contrary to what many think, still has free access between heaven and earth.

So what was the Apostle John writing about in Revelation Chapter 12 concerning a war between the Dragon and his angels and Michael and his angels and his subsequent ousting from heaven down to the earth?

To understand this one must think of what time period the events of The Book of Revelation are to have fulfillment. Unfortunately, many follow the vast stream of popular teaching and thinking and attempt to apply those events of Revelation to our time period today or in some near future. This is a mistake.

The events within The Book of Revelation were to occur in The Lords Day. At Revelation 1:10-11 the Apostle John writes:

On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.

The expression Lord’s Day implies something involving Jesus’ day or time. The Apostle John heard a loud voice behind him which means that he was already seeing the Lord’s Day, but was sent forward  from there to the time of Jesus’ future 1000 year rule ending and to the events that were to begin occurring after that Lord’s Day (1000 year reign of Christ) would end. (Revelation 20:6-7)

Put plainly, the Apostle John is writing down the events that he sees that will occur when Jesus’ 1000 reign ends and Satan is released from the Abyss. The Book of Revelation has nothing to do with our time period today or anything in the past. It is a document that God gave Jesus, that Jesus gave to his angel, and the angel gave to John that is cataloging the events that will occur after Christs 1000 year reign ends and Satan ascends out of the abyss, through that time period where there will be a Wild Beast, a False Prophet, Babylon the Great, The Great Tribulation, Armageddon, The Preaching of the Good News of the Kingdom, The Destruction of Satan, The Beast, The False Prophet, Death Hell and the coming down of God’s Kingdom out of heaven. Fulfillment of what John sees and writes down has not had a start of fulfillment yet.

There is a future span of time, according to The Book of Revelation, where Jesus will rule over the earth from heaven for a 1000 year definite time period. The events that will occur within that 1000 year span of time the Scriptures are largely silent. It is what happens at the beginning and at the end of the 1000 year rule of Christ that the Scriptures speak loudly of.

At the beginning of Christ rule as king over the earth from heaven, Satan and his angels are ousted from heaven. They are abyssed for 1000 years. At the end of that 1000 year rule by Christ, Satan is released. In between these two points, the Scriptures are largely silent. Do not make the mistake many have made into thinking that the events of Revelation are about events in past times and the 1000 year rule of Christ. Oh no! It is about the events of Satan’s unabyssing and how he will go out into that future world to mislead it. It is about a great deception work and a usurping of what Jesus took 1000 years to establish during his rule. It is about Satan establishing a system of worship and rulership on the earth that will mislead men to oppose what he (Satan) knows is coming: God’s Kingdom. That Beastly future system is designed for one purpose: To get the world of mankind in those days to oppose what is sure to come: God’s Kingdom. That is what Armageddon is. (I write about this in the Article What is Armageddon)

Three things should be carefully noted. One: Satan is in heaven when Jesus begins his rule. One of Jesus’ first acts as king is to battle with Satan and cast him out of the heavenly realm. Once cast out, Satan is locked up or abyssed for 1000 years. This is exactly the same span of time as Jesus rule. Two: During that 1000 year rule by Christ over the earth from heaven (and Satan temporarily out of the way) mankind is resurrected in two stages (A First and Second Resurrection) and restored to their Creator. Three: Satan is released after the 1000 year rule of Christ ends.

What John writes down in The Book of Revelation is primarily about the events that would occur after Christ rule ends and Satan is released. Satan’s ascension out of the abyss is synonymous with the ascension of the Beast upon that future world.

Before Jesus is installed as king, Satan rules the world. That is the situation today. When Jesus is installed as earth’s king, Satan’s rule over the world ends. Why? Because he is abyssed. After Christ’s rule ends, he too, will no longer rule over mankind. He will have fulfilled his mission in restoring all of mankind to their Creator. Christ is no longer needed as man’s mediator and intercessor. Man will intercede with God for himself.

So when Satan is released from his abyssing of 1000 years, he will see man standing alone before his Creator, Jesus no longer King over them.

That future world of mankind will be as it was for Adam and Eve. There will be peace – as Jesus left it.

Now the Serpent is re-introduced into that new peaceful world when he is unabyssed. It must be noted that Satan is not in heaven at this point. He was cast out 1000 years previous. So there is no invasion here from heaven.

Satan sees an opportunity. He sees a perfect new world and a new man. Subtle as he is, Satan will quietly usurp what it took Jesus 1000 years to accomplish. He does this by influencing the world at that time and getting that world to do his bidding all the while the inhabitants of the earth will not initially have a clue as to what is going on. Satan will not announce his release from the abyss, but it certainly should be expected.

So the events of The Book of Revelation will have the start of their fulfillment in a time period after The Lord’s Day. That epoch of time is still future. It is interesting too, that The Book of Revelation gives us no details concerning what occurs during that 1000 year rule of Christ. That one fact should tell us that the events John writes down point to a time of fulfillment after Christ rule ends.

So when Jesus said at Revelation 1:1:

The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place

He was referring to what will soon take place from the future standpoint of Jesus’ 1000 rule over the earth ending and Satan is released from his prison.

Before Jesus begins his 1000 year rule over the earth, all of mankind will be collectively in our grave. While this might sound shocking, this has to happen. The planet earth will be dead as far as mankind living on it prior to Jesus being given his crown as the earth’s king and ruling over it for 1000 years. Not one living human soul will be alive when Jesus becomes the earth’s king. Jesus has to resurrect all of mankind from the grave back to life. I am very surprised that many do not see this as Jesus speaks of it. At John 5:28-29 notice what Jesus says:

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

ALL.

Additionally, we have a curse placed upon us and we see the reality and fulfillment of that curse each and every day. What is that curse? Death. We die. But not just as individuals do we die, but as mankind as a group, we must die. Death is not the same thing as a perishing. One can be resurrected from death. (I write about this in more detail in the article Why The Entire Human Race Must Die)

So before, Jesus begins his rule, he abysses Satan and then he begins his First Resurrection of mankind from the dead. Those who are of the First Resurrection are so privileged. What a wonderful thing they will have. They will stand on the earth as visible co-kings with Jesus for the 1000 years. The Second Resurrection will be of the rest of dead mankind who were ever born and who will be the subjects of Jesus’ and his 144000 co-rulers.

That God gave Jesus the Revelation shows that at the time Jesus sent it to John by his angel, he had been installed as king by God. So Jesus was essentially telling John that “Hey, a day will come when my definite 1000 rule will end. This is what is going to happen shortly afterward when it does. Stay awake!” Men like The Apostle John, Moses, Noah and the other Apostles will stand on the earth again and will be of the First Resurrection. That is why Jesus could say essentially “I am telling you guys what is going to take place down there on earth after my 1000 rule ends. Satan is going to be released and will come after you to mislead you, my former kings in my kingdom.”

So what of all of the UFO activity and things?

Guess what? Scriptures tell us nothing about other intelligent lifeforms outside of the earth other than there being angels. We do not know. And, does it matter? If there are indeed other intelligent lifeforms more or less “advanced” than we are, so what? Does it change the Revelation God gave to Jesus and Jesus gives to his angel and the angel gives to John? No it does not. Will it change Christ ruling over mankind for 1000 years? No it will not? The bottom line is that the world of mankind as we know it must die and it must be resurrected to a new man. This new resurrected mankind will exist and benefit for 1000 years under Christ’s rule over them. If so-called spaceships land and we meet “aliens” so what? If they exist, they were created as well and are just as subject as we are to their Creator. Personally, if such a thing did happen, I would not be shaken at all.  I would wonder why all of the “under-cover” and a not a revealing of themselves.

Genesis 1:1 only tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. That book goes into some detail about God’s creative acts on earth, but is almost silent when it comes to any other creations in heaven. So we do not know.

If we are visited by other physical lifeforms, then God created them. Scripture teaches that angels are spirits and invisible, not of the same stuff as we are. They live in heaven.

So any physical visitations by other intelligent lifeforms would not be angels or demons.

None should be surprised if we were. They may be just as misled and under Satan’s power, influence,  and control as we are. Satan does have full access to both heaven and earth.

I believe awe-inspiring events will occur in the future and I do not see invasion from malevolent beings from other worlds else Jesus would have told us so.

I personally would not be surprised if it was put out in the open by the governments that we are not alone and we came to know what many people have been seeing the skies above. I do not believe it is what many think in terms of science fiction.

I spent twenty years of my life in the United States Armed Forces and I can say that there are technologies being employed and deployed that will boggle the mind. What is being closely guarded are new sciences that one does not read about in textbooks. The United States is not the only ones who have their hands on this “new science” so does other countries.

Therefore, much of the responsibility concerning strange and unexplained objects many see in the skies are of human origin. Some of it is not

What Is An Alien?

We have all been duped into believing that an alien is a being not of the earth. If that is true, then angels are aliens. And, angels fully understand how the earth and everything in it were made and how everything works. So they are not alien – not by a long shot – concerning the earth.

One would have to assume that another physical life form visiting the planet would be an air-breather and that the world that they are from would have a similar gaseous content as ours. Dry air is primarily made up of nitrogen (78.09%) and oxygen (20.95%). The remaining 1% is made up of argon (0.93%), carbon dioxide (0.039% as of 2010) and other trace gases (0.003%). Water vapor (water in its gaseous state) is also present in the atmosphere in varying amounts, by up to 2%.

Arguments that there are other worlds like ours are valid. However, is it valid to assume that if lifeforms exist on them could live and exist on the earth? Are they immune to disease and death? Who created them? Perhaps the atmosphere God placed around His creation the earth is a protective blanket and only humans and the other life forms – animals, birds, and insects – can thrive within it.

What I find a common denominator concerning UFOs are the lights found on the spaceships. Why do they need light? Not only that, the lights almost always appear to be the same common station colors all aircraft in the world use. Why would they need metallic spaceships to travel in? Why would we assume that they are like us requiring air, food like we eat, sunlight, etc.

Yet, it would not be wise for one to dismiss the possibility of other physical intelligent life forms other than us. Most persons base their belief/non-belief in other intelligent life forms exclusively on the Bible. This too is unwise. Does the Bible record for us who and how the great pyramids were built? (A feat modern men cannot emulate) No, it does not. Neither does it address whether or not there is another physical intelligent life other than man in the universe. Does the Bible tell us if there was a time BEFORE Adam on the earth? No, it does not.

A revelation that there does exist other physical intelligent life forms other than us exist and the undeniable proof was provided would obliterate the religious systems and the faith of billions. It would change everything.

Yet, if the human family has already been primed and misled concerning Christs teachings and such a revelation came forth and the effect of such a revelation shattered the faith of millions, then a large portion of the human populace would either have to go in the direction this new revelation would blow them stand utterly devastated, not knowing what to do or think.

Yet, if such a thing did happen, it does not mean that what Jesus did not exist or that his teachings were not the truth. The problem is that almost no one in the world has known that truth. A revelation of the existence of intelligent physical beings would throw out anything Jesus taught and along with the what mankind assumed were the teachings of Jesus.

Would communication with alien visitors be a problem?

I would attempt to ascertain from them who they believe created them. I would ask them if they have a concept of a Creator as we do. What they call Him/Her/It.  I ask them if they ever heard of a creature we know by the name of Jesus. I would ask them if they have been observing us and for how long. If so, they would certainly have answers to many of the questions we have concerning our history. I would ask them if they knew where we came from and how we came into existence. I would ask them about two persons we know today in the English language, Adam and Eve. I would ask them if they understood the events in the place they lived, Eden. I would ask them about the two special trees and a creature we know as the serpent.

I would ask them where have they been and why they have been silent and appear to us now. Why are you here? What do you want? Do you like, love, or hate us? Do you have enemies? If so, who are they and where are they? Why are they your enemies? I would ask them if they ever kill? What are your capabilities? Do you know why we grow old, get sick and die? Do you die? Why? How you conceived? What do you eat? Are you older than we are?

I would a pest because it does not seem normal that such beings would just show up and not be able to answer these questions. There would be a lot of explaining to do.

I do believe that one must keep their senses and listen to Jesus. No matter what we will see, we should not lose faith in him and what he says must come to the earth: God’s Kingdom. So, if by chance, there is an unexpected and shocking development of intelligent beings, on the back side of it all is what has to occur, the coming of God’s kingdom to the earth. Before, that kingdom comes, Jesus will have a 1000 year definite reign over the earth from heaven. Before Jesus’ 1000 year reign all of the nations/countries/kingdoms will be destroyed according to Daniel 2:44.

So, if the revelation of an alien visitation is a part of the earth’s history, so be it. It does not change what God and His Son say must occur.

Advice: Keep your senses.

No one of importance. A disciple (student) of Christ apart from the established religious systems who reasons, thinks and concludes matters for myself. Something is not right with the state of religion in the world. The real dichotomy is that we live in a world so full of religion, yet is an evil, immoral, and dangerous place to live. A mental and spiritual separation from this world that Jesus said his kingdom is no part of is the first step to a "break-through" to freedom and entry into a much larger spiritual world where God and Christ resides and the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God can be accessed.
