In this article, I want to dismiss a common misconception about the whereabouts of Jesus [the] Christ (Yeshua), The Son of God, The Word of God, The Messiah … today.
There stands on the surface of the ground a very wealthy and powerful religious system given its name by men called Christianity. At present, there are more than 44,000 contending Christian denominations. Each claims to follow and teach Christ but teaches him differently.
Logically, the question would surface that asks, “If more than 44,000 Christian denominations teach Christ differently, then would that not be 44,000 Christs? And, how could Christ exist within all of them, different with different and contending teachings? Why would he exist in all of them?”
The Apostle Paul at Hebrews 13:11-14, makes a very profound statement about the Lord Jesus Christ with regards to how the world rejected him, where he suffered, and where his followers must go.
‘The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.”
Jesus Suffered Outside The City Gate
What city is this? The so-called holy city of Jerusalem! The High Priest would carry the blood of animals into the Most Holy section of the temple – which represented God’s presence – (the high priest was the only one allowed to enter into the Most Holy) to offer the blood as a sin offering. The bodies of the animals from which the blood was drawn were thrown outside of city walls and burned. (Gehenna).
Jesus is “The Lamb of God.” He sacrificed his life – his spilled blood from his body – in order that the creation called mankind would not perish. (John 3:16)
“Christianity is a system of religion that has acted irresponsibly and not truthfully.” R. Jerome Harris
It is absolutely vital that all in the world know who their Creator is and the one that the Creator sent, Jesus Christ. If you have no clue, ask the Creator of the heavens and the earth to reveal Himself to you. No – and I repeat – no religious system or organization on earth can make such a revelation. Any such revelations will be the creations of men (and women) and therefore, false. That is false gods and false messiahs will result. Am I lying? Am I in error? Then how does one account for the many different gods and messiahs all over the world? Mankind creates its own religions, gods, so-called holy books, teachings, and golden calves.
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)
Sadly, Christianity has been very effective in diverting the world of mankind away from The One True God. How? By creating divisions. By creating different religious groups. (44,000 contending Christian denominations). Teaching Christ differently. Creating teachings, not from Christ. Establishing foolish rituals that dupe people into thinking they are safe or saved. Giving the One True God names of their choosing. (Neither Jesus nor his disciples ever used a personal name for God).
Christianity has failed to understand the importance of what the Apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 13:11-14, that Jesus, as the High Priest, is the only one allowed to enter into the Most Holy, the presence of God. He offered his blood to the Most Holy on behalf of all of mankind – past and present.
Also, Christianity has failed to explain that it was Christ Jesus’ body that suffered in shame outside of the Holy City for the purpose of making mankind perfect and holy (one day).
Where Is Jesus?
He is not within any religious systems or religious organizations. We know that he ascended and returned to the place from which he was sent, the heavenly realm. Religion is the creation of mankind.
Notice what the Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 13:13-14:
“Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.”
We – his followers – are to go to him! Where? Inside something? Or, outside of something?
We are to go to him outside of the camp! Symbolically, where was his body thrown? Burned outside the city walls! His spilled blood was offered to God as a sacrifice that mankind not perish, but to be fashioned by the end of the seventh day, holy and perfect. (This is far far in the future).
We are not to go into something – such as religious organizations – in order to find our Lord, we are to go outside of something to find him. We must remember what Jesus said with regards this world:
“My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” (John 18:36)
So, no religious system or organization by any name can be risen up out of this world that is of God and Christ. Such claims would be false and such systems and organizations would be counterfeit and false as well.
Many think membership within these religious systems and organizations covers them with a safety net. They have a false illusion that they are safe or saved while any nott within them will suffer for all eternity in a fiery hell or will altogether perish or cease to exist.
It is important to note is that Christs’ true followers (those that really know who their Creator is and who know their Master and his teachings) know that there exists on earth no system, organization, or structure available that they can go into. This is what the Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 13:14:
“For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.”
Where is this ‘here’ the Apostle Paul is referring to? This world! Yes, the world that Jesus said his kingdom is no part of!
The Apostle Paul says we have no enduring city. Cities are organizations. Yet, the Apostle said that “we are looking for the city that is to come.” What city is to come that we await? The one of heaven, New Jerusalem!
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.” (Revelation 21:1-2)
Our Lord is in the heavenly realm. He resides in that Holy City and will forever reside in it. He is not within any religion, religious system, or religious organization on earth.
Sadly, many have been deceived in this regard and refuse to even consider that Jesus is not in the religious systems of this world.
Christianity – the enemy of the truth – has emotionally drugged the masses. It has tightly wrapped them with rules, regulations, and rituals which serve to enslave them rather than free them.
The challenge for those who know the truth and who see beyond the deception is to get those enslaved off of the worldly plane and onto the invisible spiritual plane. Jesus taught …
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24; see Col 1:15)
It is not possible to worship the invisible God with that which is visible. It requires faith to worship that which cannot be seen.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)
Christianity has laid a false foundation of visuals. Thus, creating fruitage in men and women that is no good and faithless; a creation in men and women who walk by sight and not by faith.
Christ’s true followers/disciples reject any and all religious organizations and systems in this world and stand spiritually before God’s invisible throne afar in heaven; and, in front of them and leading them to the Father is their Lord and Master, Christ Jesus as he is the only one who knows the way to the Father who is the source of everlasting life, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
If anyone thinks they can bypass Christ (the one authorized Messiah) to come to the Father essentially believes there are other ways to Him. The world in which we live with all of the religious systems and their subsets teaches and believes that there are other ways to the Father.
While Christianity (Christendom) believes that it is only possible to come to the Father via membership within their organizations, this strongly implies another or an additional channel to the Father.
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (WTBTS) teaches that salvation and a coming to the Father can only come through what it calls itself, God Earthly Organization. This is another way is it not? A manmade organization has inserted itself into the hierarchy to the Father!
When I read from 1 Cor 11:3, I see in that hierarchy only one person above man, Christ himself. I see no ‘Earthly Organization’ above man and above that organization, Christ! Read for yourself:
But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
True followers of Christ are not within religious organizations and they do not see religious organizations as leaders or ways to the Father. They see in front of them only Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:3 confirms Jesus’ words at John 14:6.
While our hope is to live on earth for all eternity under God’s Kingdom (which one day comes down to the earth), we do not see a flesh and blood Jesus, we see – by faith – the ascended and invisible one who exists in the invisible spiritual realm of heaven (not outer space).
We know that our Lord and Master left each of us with a spiritual radio transmitter that allows us to communicate with our Creator. That spiritual radio transmitter is prayer. It only works if used invisibly and unseen by others. (Matthew 6:5-6)
Christianity has taught prayer in a different way. Praying openly before others to be seen by them. Some so-called prayers are nothing but speeches. Such prayers have no power and only travel the short worldly distance to the human ears who hear them.
Many kneel, fold their hands, close their eyes, or raise their hands to pray. I ask, where are they getting this from? Jesus never taught taking such positions when praying. This is all a part of the subtle indoctrination and deception within this world. People pray in these ways not knowing why.
The outreach of such prayers does not break through to the eternal vastness of the invisible and spiritual realm of heaven where our Creator and the one He sent reside.
While I would never tell a person what to think, I encourage examination of the things that Christ taught up against what the religious system that claims it is of him and for him – Christianity – teaches. (1 John 4:1)
Many have had Christianity passed on to them from family and friends. An entire race among the human family had it imposed upon them; unable to read or write and fearful and even unable to question or challenge their imposers and enslavers.
Today, most people can read, write, think, and conclude matters, yet are still hesitant and made fearful to question and challenge an established and imposed religious system. Fear is the enslavement of the mind.
Jesus taught freedom of the mind. (John 8:32)
Christianity does all in its power to enslave the masses – and keep the masses enslaved – to what issues forth out of it.
Seek the freedom of Christ. But know this: When you come to know and accept it, you will be rejected and hated by the world and by the very ones claiming to follow Christ. (John 15:17-21)
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
It is understandable why rejection and hatred occur: Power and control. In order to keep people deceived and misled, power and control must be exercised over them.
Corralling people within religious organizations, duping, and indoctrinating them to the teachings, rules, regulations, and rituals of those organizations is a very effective and proven method of the exercise of power and control. So much so, people have started and engaged in deadly war killing others thinking they are doing God’s will.
Yet, when you ‘step off’ the religious platform and stand before the invisible God and the one He sent and come to know them both, you will not be tricked or duped into such dysfunctional thinking or conduct.
You will even observe how Christianity becomes upset and agitated at you because it cannot enslave you within its walls. You know you have only one Lord and Master, Christ Jesus. (Not the one they fashioned which is a false Christ).
But know this with full confidence, Christ is not on earth neither in the flesh or in any form. He is not within any religious organization, either!
He ascended back to the place from which he came and resides in that invisible and spirit realm.
Know this, too with even more confidence: He is alive and waiting patiently at his Father and God’s right-hand side to await the giving of his kingdom of 1000 years over the earth from the spirit realm. You will only be able to see him by faith. No physical eye can see him.
The Master, though not with his followers in the flesh and blood, is with us spiritually and promised he will be with us always, to the end of the age.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
The e-Prophetic website – which represents me – is a small effort in teaching others about Christ, making them disciples (students) of Christ, and a spiritual baptism – which is the baptism of Christ. No water baptism is required. (Matthew 3:11)
