What Color is God and Christ?

Has anyone in modern times seen God, Christ, Adam, Eve, Moses, Angels, or the other characters we read about in Scripture?

If not, how can anyone make an image of them whether these images be statues, paintings or drawings? Answer: They cannot.

Jesus said at John 1:18 (KJV):

No man hath seen God at any time …

Col 1:15 says God is invisible.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.

Jesus [the] Christ himself is no longer a man. He resides in heaven where there is no flesh and blood.

Yet, people of all sorts wish to make them in their likeness. This is foolish. Why would anyone want to make God and His Christ men anyway, when neither are men?

No one should usurp the Creator and His Messiah for themselves.

We have bigger fish to fry and Satan has placed this before the races of men as a distraction.

God and Christ are neither White, Black or any color because they are NOT men.

R. Jerome Harris

No one of importance. A disciple (student) of Christ apart from the established religious systems who reasons, thinks and concludes matters for myself. Something is not right with the state of religion in the world. The real dichotomy is that we live in a world so full of religion, yet is an evil, immoral, and dangerous place to live. A mental and spiritual separation from this world that Jesus said his kingdom is no part of is the first step to a "break-through" to freedom and entry into a much larger spiritual world where God and Christ resides and the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God can be accessed.

  1. Jerome, what does Luke 24:39 say? “See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see that I have.” Jesus no longer has blood in His body because it was poured out at the cross but flesh and bones are in Heaven unless you can find a scripture I don’t know about that mentions this metamorphosis on the way up to Heaven.

    1. You drag the cart before the horse.

I never said Jesus was NOT ever a man. For he was a son of man.

I am saying that at present, The Son of God is NO LONGER flesh and blood as he resides in heaven alongside his Father; the place where he was before he was sent into the world of mankind.

Jesus “flesh and bones are in heaven” without blood you say? That is not possible because 1 Cor 15:50 teaches that “flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom.”

The Christ is a living Spirit – like His Father in heaven – and is invisible. (Col 1:15)

Recall in the Book of Acts 1:9 where Christ ascends into heaven that he was “caught up out of their sight.” Why? Because entry into heaven would not have been as a fleshly creature, but as a spirit one.

When The Son of God was dispatched out of heaven was it as a flesh and blood creature? Of course not. The Son of Man had to be born through a flesh and blood woman. BEFORE he became a man – that is, while residing in heaven – he was not in flesh and blood form.

The pouring out of Jesus’ blood was not in a literal sense. His dead body was not bloodless when it was buried in the earth. The “pouring out” of his blood was in the same sense as Abels blood being poured out; Jesus gave his life – which is in the blood – in behalf of all of mankind.

Yet you asked for a Scripture and 1 Cor 15:50 is it. NO flesh, blood or bones reside it heaven. It is a spiritual realm.

      1. Why then will we receive new bodys and be Caught up in flesh? Also when he returns he returns as a spirit? We will will only be spirit in heaven why will the body’s of those who have died be resurrected. When clearly he could just Resurrect the spirit, right? And lastly how can this be true if not for new fleshy bodies?

2 Corinthians 5 New Living Translation (NLT)

        New Bodies
5 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.[a] 4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.

6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. 10 For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

        1. Who told you that you were going to heaven? Christ never taught this. (John 3:13) Christ taught a resurrection from the dead. (John 5:28-29)

Where are the dead? In their graves in the earth. No resurrection has occurred yet. The idea of “being caught” up does not mean going to heaven. It means being resurrected from the dead – a state of not breathing air – to a state of living “breathing air.” This is what it means to “meet the Lord in the air.” In other words, the place where one breathes air again.

Think: If God’s Kingdom is to come down to the earth, why is their a need to go “up” to heaven? The heavenly bodies we will have will be the new bodies we will have on earth as God Kingdom will come down or envelope the earth. No one knows what those new bodies will look like. But Jesus show that they will be fleshly bodies as when he was resurrected from the dead, he came out of the grave with a fleshly body. This is what he was teaching us.

If as the Prophet Isaiah at Isa 11:6-9 shows, a time will exist on the earth where a little boy (human) will be leader over the animals. What does this teach us about NOT GOING TO HEAVEN? That mankind will live forever on the EARTH not heaven. (See Matthew 5:5 and Psalms 37:11)

No one will be judged based on what they have done in these present “earthly bodies.” This is a lie taught within what MEN call Christianity. Jesus taught DIFFERENTLY. I can name three occasions where Jesus did not judge ANYONE: (1) A woman caught in the act of adultery (John Chapter 8), (2) the condemned man who was not a follower of Jesus who Jesus promised paradise (Luke 23:43) and (3) the persons who accused Jesus, persecuted him and executed him. Jesus asked that they be forgiven. (Luke 23:34).

Jesus forgave the inherited sin in all us (the tendency to sin) by his death. That is why the Apostle Paul could say at Romans 6:7, “For he who has died has been acquitted from his sin.” In other words, when one dies, his sins are blotted out. Another way of looking at it is that ones death is the payment for his sins. This is exactly what the Apostle Paul said at Romans 6:23 is it not? “For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” The wages sin pays is not judgment.

Judgment can only come when we are perfect like Adam and Eve were. When they sinned in the Garden, then God pronounced sentence upon them. No one today is perfect. Thus, we cannot be judged under our current state. It will only be in a distant time period AFTER we have all been resurrected and will have lived through Christs 1000 year kingdom (that is yet to come) and he teaches us to perfection, that we will be like Adam and Eve – Perfect. It is under THOSE conditions that we will be judged.

At present, all of us are like that adulterous woman, that condemned man, and the persons who accused, persecuted and executed Jesus: “We do not know what we are doing.”

The problem is with us and what “Christianity” teaches, not Christ. Many prefer to listen and believe the lies Christianity teaches rather than listening to the one God COMMANDED us to listen to, his Son. (Luke 9:35)

I kindly say to you, friend, you are repeating and perpetuating what “Christianity” teaches and not what Christ teaches. They are polar opposites.

Christianity is the foretold imposter Jesus said would come on the basis of his name. (Matthew 24:4-5)

          And it has misled MANY.
