Is Easter a Teaching of Christ?

0

The CNN news flash reads, “Christians All Over The World Celebrate Easter.”

Note: On this news broadcast the Pope and Easter was mentioned more than 25 times. God and Christ: not once. This shows how misled the world is.

For those of you who have been reading my articles on this website know that I have explained that Jesus NEVER used the expression Christian, Christians, or Christianity and he NEVER referred to himself as a Christian, he NEVER referred to his disciples as Christians and his disciples NEVER referred to themselves by such a title. So where did these expressions come from? They are concoctions by the European.

Thus, when the CNN new flash says that “Christians All Over The World Celebrate Easter,” it is reallying saying that millions of persons all over the world celebrate a practice and tradition started by the man of European descent – and under a title created by THEM –  not a practice celebrated or commanded by Christ.

Easter eggs and Easter bunnys! REALLY people! The world has lost its way but thinks it is on the right path. The truth is what many have been indoctrinated by the creators of this day to reject. Christianity is a supplier of a drug called emotional spiritism and has been found guilty of creating a world of spiritual drug addicts and of misleading the world to defy God. Get out of her!

Easter Not Spoken of By Christ

We humans are a stiff-neck (hard-headed) lot. When God and His Christ commands or teaches NOT to do a thing, we do the opposite and do it any way. When he commands TO DO a thing, we do the opposite and don’t do. The expression Easter is not found in the scrolls from which the book “The Bible” was supposedly compiled.

The Encyclopædia Britannica comments:

There is no indication of the observance of the Easter festival in the New Testament, or in the writings of the apostolic Fathers. The sanctity of special times was an idea absent from the minds of the first Christians. —(1910), Vol. VIII, p. 828.

The Catholic Encyclopedia tells us:

A great many pagan customs, celebrating the return of spring, gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating life of early spring. . . . The rabbit is a pagan symbol and has always been an emblem of fertility.”— (1913), Vol. V, p. 227.

In the book The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop, we read:

What means the term Easter itself? It is not a Christian name. It bears its Chaldean origin on its very forehead. Easter is nothing else than Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, the queen of heaven, whose name, . . . as found by Layard on the Assyrian monuments, is Ishtar. . . . Such is the history of Easter. The popular observances that still attend the period of its celebration amply confirm the testimony of history as to its Babylonian character. The hot cross buns of Good Friday, and the dyed eggs of Pasch or Easter Sunday, figured in the Chaldean rites just as they do now.—(New York, 1943), pp. 103, 107, 108; compare Jeremiah 7:18.

So what in the world is world are people doing, then? Answer: Not listening to God and being in abject defiance to Him. Rather, they are listening to men and engaged in the worship or and reverence to men; the race among the human family that started it: Those of European descent. These Christian holidays – if you look closely at them, very closely – ALL amount to White-people worship. PERIOD.

The Pope of the Catholic church – all who have been White men – are called Holy Father and people kneel before him can kiss his ring. What did Jesus teach in this regard:at Matthew 23:9:

And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

Millions do what God’s Son says NOT to do.

Men make up holidays and dupe the weak-minded to follow their course of defiance to God, thinking that they are actually worshiping Hm and doing what He says one should do. The cunning power behind this defiance-to-God-but-making-it-appear-that-one-is-worshiping-God is Satan the Devil. He has used men – just like he used Eve – to sell a thought (fruit of lips) to the world that would make them all take a defiant posture against God.

Many will get upset at me because they cannot handle the truth spoken or written. They are like figs on a fig tree. The truth is a strong wind. The strong wind agitates the tree and the figs fall off. Put simply, most persons do not like their world rocked or shaken. They would rather believe a lie – because it is not a strong wind that agitates – than to even investigate the truth. If they investigate, they are fearful what they will find: A strong wind.

Do This In Remembrance of Me

At Luke 22:19-20 Jesus said these words:

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”

Many think that his words are proof-text of the Easter celebration, but it is not. First of all, no referrence is made to Easter. Man made it up. Secondly, Jesus was not talking to us, he was talking to his Apostles. A covenant – or agreement – between himself and the twelve men that he chose: His Apostles.

Jesus said to THEM, “Do this in remembrance of me.”

The Apostles would do as Jesus directed them until the last one died and that practice would end. Their deaths concluded the practice of partaking of bread and wine.

No other disciple (un-chosen) was invited. If this covenant was to be made with ALL of Christs disciples, he would have invited them to this supper. But he did not because it would not be a covenant between ALL of his disciples and himself.

No one today has been chosen by Christ. It is we who choose him; it is we who choose to be his disciples. His Apostles were chosen by him.

Thus, no Pope or men and women of self-proclaimed eminence has been chosen by Christ. Jesus showed that many would proclaim they belong to him but he would not recognize them. (Matthew 7:21-32)

Listen To Him

The really odd thing is that inspite of what has been written here – and the Scriptures quoted – people will get angry and press on in defiance to God and do what THEY want to do. They are emotionally drugged. The celebration of Easter makes them feel good

On this day called Easter, many in the world will stand in defiance to God and Christ and NOT do has He has said.

The Most High God cannot be served by rituals. This is what pagans do.

Since it is the Devil who opposes God and Christ, it is this mighty and powerful creature who has misled the world to oppose what God as directed. The man-made celebrations and rituals the world finds itself embroiled in are NOT sacrifices to God, but to demons. And, the demons on this day called Easter (and Christmas and the others) relished in the fact that they have mankind joining them in defiance to God.

The Apostle Paul at 1 Cor 10:20 says:

No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.

Yet, particpants with demons is what many are engaged in.

The pagan celebration and ritual of Easter is not something God nor his Christ has commanded anyone to do.

When will the world wake up and obey what God has spoken at Luke 9:35:

A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.
