I wanted to take a moment to write something about my YouTube channel. I get a tremendous amount of persons commenting and ALL comments are welcomed; I ban no one from commenting and I do not moderate or disapprove a comment unless it is racially or ethnically offensive. (This violates YouTube rules anyway).
What is most interesting to me are the comments that have the flavor of “Why don’t you respond to my comments?” Or, those who say, “You do not respond because you can’t or you do not have an answer?” I smile and grin a little at those comments because these individuals really have convinced themselves I have no answer. In almost every case, I have answered them but it is not the answer THEY want to hear so they keep asking, again and again, the same thing as if I am going to give a different answer. And, they rarely address the Scriptural points I raise. Instead, they revert to a Red Herring “bait and switch” technique that draws attention away from the topic and discussion and makes “me” the topic and discussion. By making me the topic and discussion, the focus is removed from the original topic. In other words, these so-called self-proclaimed “Christians” go on the attack of the person. Sheep, by nature, are not aggressors. Yet, ravenous wolves are. Jesus spoke of these types of persons at Matthew 7:15-16:
Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits YOU will recognize them …
The persons who act so aggressively in this manner are persons claiming to follow Christ. They are like a pack of wolves; aggressive, and in many cases, just outright ignorant, intolerant, and hateful displaying conduct, unlike the example Christ set. They poke and prod almost to pick fights; to draw people into discussions to sell their side of the story but listen to anyone else’s. Then when they find that they have failed to convince the other person, or if the other person questions and challenges them, they engage in personal attacks upon them. They would be favorably disposed with the persons to which they were speaking accepted – without question or challenge – what they say. However, for those who do not, it is quite a different manner. Who or what taught them to be this way?
Before a pig goes to the slaughter, he is fattened. I do not respond to such comments but allow them because I want visitors to my channel to see the fruitage being produced out of the religious system called by men, Christianity. This is not good fruit and this tree will be cut down in God’s time.
These same persons have the audacity to go out into the world to convert people and for what reason? To teach them to behave as they do?
This new brand of “Christian” is intolerant of persons who do not believe as they do; hateful and aggressive towards those who reject them and what they teach; and unable to take it when they are questioned and challenged. This new brand of “Christian” is impatient with others, not good listeners and seek only agreement from others with what they are pushing.
I know who you are and I know that you are uncertain and afraid. Certainty and confidence in what one believes should not prompt the display of aggression many of you exhibit. You reveal yourselves not true sheep and disciples of Christ.
So you aggressive “pick a fight” type commenters claiming to be followers of Christ, you have already displayed before the world who and what you are. You are fattened. The Master Christ Jesus need no enemies with so-called friends like you. 🙂
Intelligent and reasoning persons would reject conversion by you to this false and aggressive brand of Christianity that you are teaching. Do you blame them? Yes, YOU would.
Yet, you must think: Why would anyone want to join you when you behave like madmen and mad-women as if you have a dysfunction? You need to look at yourselves before you look at others. Have YOU truly become a sheep-like disciple of Christ? How can you teach others to be sheep-like when you are not?
